Our house has a meticulously furnished vacation apartment and is located on the outskirts of Dresden. It is easy to reach by car, not far from the A 4 and the A 13 motorways. We would be all too pleased to take you on a horse and buggy ride through the Moritzburg countryside, including showing an idyllic view of the castle and the lighthouse. Dresden, the porcelain city of Meissen, Saxony's Switzerland and numerous castles and palaces are just a few minutes' drive away. Even the Lausitz with the 1000-year-old town of Bautzen and the Spree Forest, is just an hour’s drive away. You can also explore the Moritzburger Pond Region with our house's bicycles.

The federal state's capital of Dresden is just 3 km away and you can reach the centre of town in 15 minutes. The health resort of Volkersdorf is nestled into the Moritzburger Pond Region. Volkersdorf has approximately 450 residents, most of who live in 3-sided farmhouses, some of which are still used for agriculture. The town has a small store, a flower shop, and a hairdresser's. You can dine out at a country restaurant in the neighbouring town of Bärnsdorf (3 km away). Or, you can follow 'Augusts' tracks to Moritzburg (5 km away).

'... und wenn irgendwann jemand fragt: 'wie war´s bei Familie Haase in der alten Mühle?', dann sagen wir: 'Das HILTON in Dresden incl. allem ist nur ein billiger Eintopf!' Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt - Hoffentlich auf bald! Ihre Familie Astrid, Freddy Breck, und 'Kind' Sascha aus Hanau, Juli 1994' *** 'Liebe Haases, die 3 Hamburger aus Dresden waren bei Ihnen sehr zufrieden. Schade, die Woche war zu kurz - aber - wir kommen wieder.

Besser kann man in Dresden keinen Urlaub machen. Supernette, aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Danke Ulrike und Roland! Vor allem für die Kutschfahrt!!!, den Brötchenservice und den schönen Abend in Dresdens Kneipenviertel. Man wohnt ruhig aufm Dorf in der alten Mühle und ist in 15 Min. (immer nur geradeaus und leicht zu fahren) im Altstadtzentrum am Zwinger und der Frauenkirche. Moritzburg samt Schloß ist bei Volkersdorf um die Ecke. Schön gelegen zwischen Feldern, Wiesen, Wäldern und Seen. Wir sind absolut begeistert von diesen 2 Wochen bei Euch.

Hallo, sehr gute Bewertungen abzugeben, birgt die Gefahr, dass man nur noch schwer die FeWo buchen kann. Unsere Kinder waren begeistert und dem können wir uns nur anschließen. Auch die spontane Hilfe bei TV- Ausfall ist nicht immer selbstverständlich. Unbedingt empfehlenswert ist eine Kutschfahrt bei "Gewitter". Gemeinsam sind wir stark. Das war ein Abenteuer, welches wir gerne wiederholen sollten. Es gibt noch viel zu entdecken, was uns hoffentlich noch ein paarmal gelingen sollte.
