Our family of 5 recently took a vacation to the Poconos and stayed in this home and we LOVED it!!! Our family consists of 2 adults, 2 seniors, and 1 three year old and we all had a great time in this rental!
It's a beautiful home that is well-maintained, clean, and nicely decorated. The house is located on a nice lot in the back of Locust Lake Village on a nice secluded road and it is set back in amongst the trees for a very peaceful setting. The first floor of the home has a washer/dryer, game room with pool table and flat screen tv, along with a bar and a bathroom......the next level is the open living/kitchen room complete with balcony/sliding glass doors, fireplace, and tv - along with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom......and finally, the top level has a loft area along with an enclosed master suite w/ bath and which also has a large outside roof deck.
The roof deck off the master suite was the best.....it's just a beautiful view and experience.....perfect for sitting there with tea and a book or hanging with friends. The home also had tons of windows and even skylights....just allowing all the beautiful scenery to be viewed from inside the home day and night. I could see the stars from laying in bed - nothing better than that :)
I really loved everything about the house....everything was provided -- pots/pans/dishes/bath towels/linens which made our trip so much easier. Plus the house came with DishTV and wireless internet.
The home is located inside Locust Lake Village and while on a secluded lot, only a few minutes walk down the road from a lake which was beautiful. In addition, the complex was staffed by very friendly people, only minutes from a large grocery store, Dunkin Donuts, CVS, 2 gas stations, and 2 convenience stores --- along with nearby to Jack Frost and Big Boulder.
My family loved staying here and I will recommend this place to all my friends! I'll definitely go back!! :)
