Welcome to our tranquil 18th century home and olive farm on our 25 acre estate near Saint Remy de Provence. We offer a sublime setting on our very own lake inhabited by wildlife and carp. The heated salt-water pool is surrounded by olive trees, flowers and protected by a magnificent forested hill. We have only one cottage available making it private for those who come to stay. Our Grossane Cottage facing the lake is for two adults only, and has a private terrace, and use of the swimming pool. It is comfortably furnished with style and charm, and the bed has a new fine quality latex mattresse for a good night's sleep. Area attractions: Perfect for nature lovers, yet so close to Saint Remy de Provence for restaurants, markets and wonderful shopping, Nearby are Avignon, Arles, Le Baux, the Luberon, Aix en Provence, Marseilles. Well known route for bicycling on our doorstep.

In the heart of Provence, the idyllic countryside of Van Gogh's famed Alpilles, yet only 5 minutes from the delights of Saint Remy de Provence known for restaurants and the market. Only 20 minutes away is the enchanting city of Avignon with its Arts Festival and the TGV. The Roman cities of Arles and Nimes are nearby, the Camargue, and the antiquities of Les Baux and Glanum are on our doorstep. Marseilles and Aix en Provence 1 hr drive. Our Grossane cottage facing the lake is on the grounds of our typical Provencal 18th century Mas and olive farm. Surrounded by 25 acres of wooded hills and a lake that will delight nature lovers. Our salt-water pool is in a tranquil and verdant spot. A place to read a book or paint in the landscape. Adults only, no children.

Owner is not responsible for any wire or currency conversion fees charged by guests bank. Last minute booking less than two weeks in advance of holiday are required to be paid in full upon booking. Notes: The accommodation is newly furnished, painted and restored. The Grossane Cottage has a compact artisan kitchen suitable for two, It can be combined with the separate Picholine bedroom suite if required. This combination would suit four adults. There is good central heating for year round use. There is a fridge in the pool house to use for cold drinks. Use of washing machine and dryer is available by arrangement with owner please.

Lovely accomodation and location!

We stayed in the cottage and had a marvellous holiday. The cottage had recently been refurbished and was very tastefully decorated and comfortable with all required amenities. Being on an olive farm was ideal as despite the surrounding area being fairly busy during the peak holiday season, the farm itself was peaceful, relaxing and private. The grounds were beautiful and the lovely pool area provided welcome refreshment from the hot weather and sightseeing to the many surrounding place of interest. The owners were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.

We would definitely recommend this to friends and family!

Having stayed here for 1 week during mid August, we cannot recommend this location highly enough for those who will visit the area. We were made to feel most welcome by our charming hosts who could not do enough to make our holiday most memorable. The estate itself is the perfect setting which at once captures the rural isolation of the area, while still being within easy reach of the many surrounding places of interest. We feel very fortunate to have found this place and would recommend any time there to anyone looking for the best of what this beautiful area has to offer.
