This beautiful post and beam home has high ceilings, an open concept and offers a gorgeous view of Northumberland Strait. The main floor has two bedrooms with queen beds and the upstairs loft has a master suite that includes a bathroom with shower, a king size bed and flat screen TV. It is situated on a quiet, private and secluded 2 1/2 acre lot that will ensure a relaxing environment. Relax on the deck and enjoy the warm sun while the steaks are sizzling on the grill and lobsters are boiling in the pot. In the evening you will want to pour a glass of wine, sit out on the deck, feel the warm ocean breezes and enjoy the gorgeous sunsets. Our home is tastefully decorated and has a well equipped kitchen that will handle the needs of those that love to cook at home.

There is lots to visit in the area and each days outing will provide a new adventure. Enjoy day trips to Cape Breton or possibly an overnight getaway to Prince Edward Island. We are a short 15 minute drive into Antigonish or a little further down the road is New Glasglow. During the summer make sure you get to Boyds at Ballantynes Cove for the best fish and chips you have ever had.

There is wonderful beach down the road at Airsaig where kids will love to play as the tide rolls out and exposes treasures in the sand. The provincial park at Airsaig has great hiking trails that will take you through the woods and down to the shore.

Other Activities: Kayaking, Boating, Wildlife Viewing, Health/Beauty Spa, Basketball Court, Miniature golf.

A wonderful vacation with our dog, by the sea!!!

We stayed at the cottage the end of August 2009. What a gorgeous, unspoiled view! We loved the quiet, secluded spot and the sunsets were amazing. During our stay, we explored Antigonish, New Glasgow, Arisaig & Arisaig Provincial Park and Cape George. Our chocolate lab, Toby loved the beaches and swimming in the ocean for the first time. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and comfortable, with all the amenities of home. After long afternoons exploring the beach it was nice to come back, cook dinner, eat outside while the sun set and then cuddle up with a nice movie. We couldn't of asked for a more relaxing vacation and we can't wait to return again soon. Till next time!
