Vacation Home Phaesant is secluded and situated directly on the lake shore, within a fantastic 2.6 acres wooded property that provides you with privacy. The cozy furnished house with additional top quality equipment was established only some years ago. On the South Shore, summer and autumn are dry and warm which invites you to enjoy the lake shore and the Atlantic beaches. Good road connections are a benefit. You reach Bridgewater by car within 15 minutes and the Atlantic Ocean with its countless sand beaches within 25 minutes. The home provides for the outdoor sportsman, the nature lover, as well for families a wealth of pleasurable sights with many seasonal outdoor activities (canoeing, golf, horse riding, whale watching, and sightseeing flights in a Cessna or a float plane). Memorable sights like Town of Lunenburg (UNESCO-World Heritage Site), Peggy's Cove, Halifax (shopping), Upper Clemens Park (adventure park for children) can be explored within a day trip.

Day trips to the nearby national park (Kejimkujik) and the Ross Farm Museum. At the Town of Lunenburg you should visit the Fisheries Museum and the world famous Bluenose II, sailing replica of the Bluenose. Don't miss a stroll through the lovely restored town and enjoy the maritime cuisine. The town of Mahone Bay is now the best-known and most picturesque in Atlantic Canada. The much-photographed Three Churches on the sweep of the bay and the old buildings perched on the water's edge along Main Street, now a colorful mixture of inns, restaurants, bakeries, antiques and craft shops. Dieses Ferienhaus ist mit seiner Lage, seiner Ausstattung, der Verwaltung einfach spitze. Hier findet man all das, was man sich für einen Aufenthalt in Kanada wünscht. Hier kommt jeder auf seine Kosten - der Romantiker, der Unternehmungslustige, aber auch all diejenigen, die einfach nur Ruhe suchen. Aufwachen und vom Bett aus auf den wunderschönen See schauen - das ist Kanada pur. Nicht zu vergessen sind die tollen Ausflüge, die von hier aus unternommen werden können. Das Verwalterehepaar ist jederzeit bereit, den ein oder anderen Tip zu geben, so dass sich die Feriengäste gut betreut fühlen können.

Dieser Ferienaufenthalt war einzigartig!! Die Betreuung vom persönlichen Abholen bis zur Erstversorgung war hervorragend. Das Online-Inserat ist detaliert beschrieben. Die Zimmeraufteilung ist ideal für Jung und fortgeschrittenen Alters. Für meine Eltern beide um die 70 war es Ihr erster Kanadaaufenthalt. Sie werden es nie vergessen. Der Zustand ist sehr gepflegt. Das Küchenzubehör ist kpl. und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Vom Backofen bis zum Barbeque alles kpl.vorhanden. Die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist nur 30km entfernt. Trotz der Nähe zur nächsten Stadt gibt es hier absolute Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit. Die Freizeitmöglichkeiten erstrecken sich von Baden am See und Meer bis Ausflüge in den nahegelegenen Naturpark (auch Kanu fahren) . Ist gibt in der Stadt die typischen Fastfoodketten für alle Kids sowie auch deutsche Küche Schwarwaldhaus aber auch viele Fischlokale und andere Restaurants mit B&B.Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Walbeobachtung und den Besuch von Cap Breton. Eine Insel die an die schottischen Highlands erinnert. Einfach traumhaft schön. Wir würden dieses Ferienhaus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
