The house is on 5 acres surrounded by 80 to 100ft. evergreens with a creek running through it. This cozy get-a-way sits at the foot of Tiger Mountain and is so peaceful that the deer will come and sit under the trees. This property is perfect for a romantic weekend or a fun filled festival week for the family! A 7 minute drive to experience the edible landscaping tour of Gilman boulevard and the great shopping at GilmanVillage. This house is unique and one of a kind built in 1960 -the style transcends the years. This exceptional home was built with lots of love and dedication by the original owners. Come enjoy the ceilings and floors of cedar and the walls are made from the stone collected from the mountainside. What a lovely place to call home

Whether for a night or more this place is it. We walked in and were so impressed with the house from front door to back. They did not forget anything. The kitchen is fully stoked with all cooking essentials and not just the basics. The living room has lovely furniture to relax on or snuggle on next to the fire place. The bathroom is so unique filled with all bathroom amenities. All the wood and rock in the house make you feel like you are really a part of your environment. This is a great place to be out in nature and observe the upper northwest and the nature that abounds. I would recommend staying here to anybody at anytime. What a great place to relax or to access the cities. The freeway is within a 5 minute drive to I-90 then you are on your way to Bellevue, north, south or less than 15 minutes on I-90 to Seattle and all that downtown has to offer.
The owner is very responsive to all calls and concerns and has treated us more like family than like business. Anything more we have asked for she has literally brought over to the house within a couple hours.
We would definitely stay here again.
