Hunting:
Hunting is private on our land but will be allowed to our guests as long as all laws are obeyed and proper safety and ethics are used. It is important to respect all posted signs and property lines.
Arrangements can be made for the following with guide and dogs:
SMALL GAME: ruffed grouse, pheasant, rabbitt, squirrel, coyotes, fox, crows.
BIG GAME: whitetail deer, Eastern wild turkey.
WATERFOWL: Canada Geese, Mallards, Wood ducks, Pintails, teal
SHOOTING LESSONS: Skeet and 22 cal. targets with an Authentic Henry Rifle
Horses:
There is no better way to see the fall foiliage then on horse back. Arrangements can be made for your horses in our barn. We have miles of trails and a riding arena . The barn consists of 4 box stalls, turn out paddocks, separate pasture for grazing, tack room, running water. This is a working farm and we bale out own high quality hay.
Don't own your own horses? No problem. We can arrange riding lessons, trail rides, roping lessons, cutting, team penning, rodeo, both English and Western. Miles of truly outback trails through woods, mountains, streams and beautiful pastures and fields. Spectacular views! . September and early October are the best months.
We have trusty safe mounts for all interested riders from beginner to expert. You will be fitted with a proper horse and saddle for your skill level. Hourly and 1/2 day rates are available
Boating:
Boat trips, fishing, swimming, water skiing, evening cruises, fall foiliage cruises on Lake Boomaseen can be arranged on our 20' Seacraft with Captain Beau ( USCG licensed Captain).
Water skiing lessons are available from instructer 'Big A' teaching since 1971.
Ski:
We are in the heart of ski country. Middlebury, Okemo, Ludlow, Pico, Killington are all a short drive.
You can cross country ski for ever on beautiful private trails on our land. The Vermont association of snow mobiles maintains trails that run directly through our land. There is plenty of room in the barn to store your snow mobiles, 4 wheelers even a vehicle. Snow mobilers must be a member of VAST (Vermont Association of Snow mobile Trails).
Golf:
Many golf courses are within 15-20 minites
