Restored 19th c. stone house in beautiful hamlet near Roussillon. Peaceful, beautiful views, only 5 km to nearest large town (Apt). House has two levels, each with terrace, basement with laundry room. Four bedrooms, one on main level w/en-suite shower room, WC, upstairs level: three bedrooms, one bathroom, one shower room and WC. Renovated kitchen in Provencal style, spacious living room and dining room, large Provencal fireplace. Private pool, 8m x 4m. ‘Lagniappe’ means pleasant, unexpected gift. Its private garden overlooks trees, mountains, and orchards. Walking, hiking and cycling are ideal in picturesque countryside. Rosemary and thyme grow wild in woods on walks to ocre cliffs of Roussillon. Wonderful area to explore, many beautiful villages, each with its own market day. Avignon (45 mins by car), famous antiques market in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Cistercian abbey of Sénanque nearby as are excellent restaurants offering the special cuisine of rural Provence.
