Quiet and Peaceful!

My husband & I were taking a road trip and headed to Eastport to see the sunrise without any reservations. When I called a motel in town, the clerk told me about this property and gave me their phone number. What a pleasure it was to meet the lovely owners and have the entire downstairs for our overnight stay. They are delightful and gave us recommendations for dinner and where to go to see the sunrise. We were so fortunate to actually see it and not be fogged in! I took over 100 photos of the most eastern sunrise in the U.S. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for peace and quiet and a view of the water. There is a full kitchen if you wish to eat there. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub plus a shower. There is also wireless internet access, which was wonderful so that I could download my photos and e-mail them out while we were there. We had breakfast at the Waco Diner after sunrise and wished we had eaten dinner at the Pickled Herring after seeing their menu in the window while we were walking downtown. Eastport is a fabulous little sleepy town that is a must see!
