Safety has not been an issue.
There’s a combination lock safe in the master bedroom closet.
Alegranza has 24-hour security and a private guard-gated entry.
Los Cabos is a thousand miles from the Mexican border and cities that suffered violence.
There has not been a single case of H1N1 (“swine flu”) in Los Cabos or in the entire state of Baja California Sur, which is a thousand mile drive to Mexico City. [As of April 30, 2009.]
The engineering exceeds the latest standards and codes. The building is mostly concrete and has been chosen by several owners in the high-end building business specifically because its quality surpasses other construction in the area.
Alegranza has its own back-up power generator.
Full hurricane shutters (we have a hurricane refund policy in our Rental Agreement, too, though we still recommend travel insurance).
