A sweet and charming 200 year cottage located only 5 minutes from the heart of historic Sag Harbor Village Main Street. Open kitchen/dining/family room with flat screen HDTV opening onto a stone back patio with grill overlooking private lawn furnished with outdoor dining for 6, chaise lounges, adirondack chairs and an outdoor shower. Comfortable furnishings include cable TV and local phone service, wireless internet, ipod dock, dishwasher, washer and dryer, heat and ac. It is a 5 minute drive to the bay beach and a 10 minute drive to the ocean beaches, wineries and the Hampton Classic Horse Show.

Balance due 14 days prior to rental. 14 days cancellation notice with 20% cancellation fee of full rental total. Maximum 6 People but more comfortable for 4 persons. No shares or groups please.

My husband and I spent a week here at the beginning of fall. The place is adorable - clean, charming, quiet, and thoroughly stocked with everything you might need. We packed many cooking implements but didn't need them at all! The owner was very considerate and texted us several times to make sure we were okay and to suggest things to do in the area. We look forward to returning!

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I booked this beautiful home for a nice weekend. It was everything is said it would be and more. The house was comfortable, charming and clean. We were extremely happy with the house and the amenities. We were so sad to go. We can't wait to book a time to come with the famliy next summer!!! The house was a short walk into the downtown Sag Harbor area. It was a perfect house, perfect location, perfect getaway!!!!!!

Such a charming weekend getaway destination!

We just spent a great weekend in Sag Harbor in this adorable little cottage. The house was clean, clutter free and so welcoming. The owner was so proactive in making sure we had everything we needed and kept in touch with us throughout the weekend to ensure we were comfortable. The house has everything one would need (ipod hook up, bbq necessities, linens, towels, tableware and flatware, dishwasher and washer and dryer) and I would highly recommend it. The backyard is spacious and has plenty of chairs and tables for entertaining. We had a BBQ one night and had about 15 guests and everyone sat comfortably in the backyard. We also have a young child and the layout of the house was perfect for her. Great for 4 people, although it can accommodate 6 (but might be a little tight with 6 being that there is only 1 bathroom--although there is an outdoor shower that helps). Also, town is super close which is helpful. I ran into town and it took me like 5 minutes! GREAT find!

A very special house!

Although this property is exactly as described in the listing, no description can adequately convey how comfortable and charming this rental house truly is. A meticulous, tasteful renovation has preserved all the character of a 200-year-old house (charming period details, furnishings, decor) and at the same time provides all the comforts of 21st century life (wireless internet, flat screen TV, cable, iHome, CD players, air conditioning). With thoughtful touches both large and small, the owner has anticipated virtually every need for long or short stays: fresh flowers on the dining table; a well-equipped kitchen; pantry staples (and more); beach gear (chairs, towels umbrella); comfortable outdoor seating, reading lamps exactly where they should be, hair dryer, plenty of drawer space, well-stocked linen closet, washer/dryer. While not large, the house perfectly accommodated our family (two adults and two boys, 12 and 17). The serene rear garden with both shade trees and open areas offers plenty of space and privacy. The location is superb: a short drive or bike ride (or longer walk) to both town and a bay beach, a bit longer drive to ocean beaches. The owner, who couldn't be more gracious and accommodating, provided superb directions and took care to leave lights on, etc. for our late arrival. We couldn't have hoped for a better situation and feel very lucky to have found this house!
