Canyon Lake is well known for it's great fishing for bass, striped bass, white bass, crappie, perch and very large catfish. Very few know the Reunion Beach Haus secret. Our secret-we constantly feed the fish in our cove via underwater fish feeders that slowly release a constant stream of nutrients-nutrients that attract minnows that in turn attract larger fish. This makes for great fishing! Children and adults thoroughly enjoy the experience of reeling in fish of all sizes while fishing from our beach. Vacations don't get any better than this!
Canyon Lake is also known for its great sailing conditions, so you may want to bring or rent a sailboat from the marina while you’re visiting.
As one of the clearest and most beautiful lakes in Texas, you can’t help but have a great time on Canyon Lake. The cedar and oak woods are saturated with wildlife. The neighborhood is shared with pet-like deer. It’s a very calming and natural environment.
Reunion Beach Haus itself is a beautiful newly remodeled A-frame two bedroom, two bath home located on the shore of Canyon Lake. The serenity and peaceful nature must be experienced to be fully appreciated.
The home is nestled in a wooded area on Canyon Lake. The very large two car garage is on the ground level. The den, kitchen, laundry, a bedroom, bathroom, and the large wooden deck are all on the first floor of the home (above the garage). The second floor contains a loft (w/ a futon sleeper) and an additional bedroom and bathroom.
Amenities include digital cable TV, central AC and heat, high speed wireless internet access (free), a nearby -100 yards- community recreation facility with a tennis court and basketball court.
Reunion Beach Haus is situated on the south side of Canyon Lake near the community of Startzville. Canyon Lake is considered one of the clearest lakes in Texas making it ideal for scuba diving, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and many other water activities. We provide a full sized canoe, paddles and life jackets for our guests.
The Guadalupe River feeds Canyon Lake and has some of the best tubing, rafting and kayaking in Texas. It’s located only minutes from the home. Gruene Hall, Texas’s oldest dance hall, is located on the banks of the Guadalupe River with its famous live music and is only a short 15 minute scenic drive away. Gruene also offers great restaurants, shops and spas.
