Year round cabin located on a quiet lake, just 1 1/2 hours from the Twin Cities. 276 acre Lower Turtle Lake is a full recreational lake. Enjoy your time fishing for Bass, Panfish, Walleye and Northern. 4 wheeler and snowmobile trails galore in this area. Enjoy the evening sitting around a fire in the fire pit or just relax in the bug free low light gazebo. The town of Turtle Lake is only 4 miles away and features groceries, gas, restaurants, churches, shops and The St. Croix Casino.

Recently updated for convenience!: Including an awesome large kitchen with loads of cupboards, pantry, cooking utensils, Pots and Pans and Kitchen linens. Mudroom with washer and dryer, closet and hanging cubby. Extra sink and mirror for wash up besides the bathroom. New carpeting and kitchen flooring, paint and furnishings for cleanliness and comfort. Ceiling fans in living room and main bedroom with 2 new Queen mattresses for the tired out bones.

Outside activities: Large yard including lawn games for family, friend fun! Quiet full Recreational Lake 276 Acres, with dock and also access to two public landings for those who wish to bring their own boat.. Flower gardens, mature trees, wildlife of birds, eagles, beavers and Herons to name a few (relaxing and quiet lot for those who like to take in nature) Paddle boat is included for your use and a pontoon to rent if needed.

Near Attractions: St. Croix Casino, ATV and snowmobile trails, Fawn-Do-Rosa/Miniature golf, Taylor Falls-hiking/rock climbing/boat rides, State Park-biking/hiking, Lakes-fishing/boating/tubing/swimming.jet ski, Restaurants, Churches, Golf courses, Shopping-Several Antique Shops and Flea Markets. Did some last minute planning because that's the way we are. Wanted to be convenient to both the MSP area (family) and the apostle islands (friends) but not right on top of either. This property is well maintained and well stocked with beautifully finished LR,DR and 3 nice sized bedrooms. The screen pagoda was a treat for meals outdoors, and the firepit got nightly use as we relaxed and caught up with the family. The kitchen was well conveniently laid out and easy to cook and entertain from. The one and only reservation we had about the property was that there was only one full bath, so we had to plan better than we often do because of that.A paddle boat and several games were there for our use and the pontoon boat, though modest, was also a modestly priced addition to the cabin rental. In my experience I would say this property qualifieds as a likeside home rather than a cabin. We will definitely keep it on our short list for places to vacation at again.
