Great place to unwind and destress.

We stayed in early October, the house was even better than it shows in the pictures. It's decorated in a pretty, relaxing fashion, and all the windows makes the ocean and beach views part of the decor. The owner is very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. The house was clean and beds very comfortable. The beach is a short walk from the house, it's private for residents so it's very clean and not crowded at all. Downtown Plymouth is about a 10 minutes drive. The house was well stocked with things you might need such as paper goods, cookware, spices, oil and vinegar, etc., so if you're planning to cook you don't need to buy a lot of those sort of staples. Internet worked okay, but at times connection was spotty. You can watch the sunrise right out of the ocean, which is fantastic. Yard was large and well kept up, if you bring kids there's lots of room to play outside, and there is a swing is under the porch, facing the sea. There is a newish grocery not too far called The Market, which is kind of like a Whole Foods but much less expensve. You can get good prepared foods there to stock up the house if you don't want to cook or eat out a lot. I would have loved to have just stayed at the house all the time, enjoying the fantastic deck and comfy rockers and sofas (there's a fireplace too, good if you're there in chilly weather). If you can, consider two weeks, if you really want to enjoy relaxing at the house and beach, and also seeing all the sights in the area. This house is perfect if you want to unwind from your regular stressful life. I would definitely stay here again!

Owner's Response: I'm thrilled with Laura's reaction to my home. She was a joy to deal with, hopefully we'll see her again!
