Our apartment is located right by the beautiful Nymphenburg Castle, and the Hirschgarten( one of the world's biggest beer garden). We are also just a few stops away from the lovely botanical garden, the Olympia Park, and the Olympia Einkaufzentrum. It is in close proximity to public transportation: tram 17, bus 51, bus 151, tram 12, tram 16, and U-bahn (subway) U1 which gives easy access to go to any point in Munich. Supermarkets and shops are just short bike ride and walking distances away. In addition, if you feel like catching a movie while you're here, Munich's leading motion picture houses screening exclusively original version English language films, 'Cinema' is located on Nymphenburgerstrasse between Stiglmaierplatz and Mailingerstrasse underground stations on the U2 line which is just a bike ride away or can easily be reached by public transportation.

Nymphenburg is one of the more relaxing districts, where residents and visitors alike forget they are in a city of over a million people. It is virtually undiscovered by tourists even though Nymphenburg/Neuhuasen is home to a popular night club and the world's largest beer garden, Hirshgarten. What's more astounding is the tranquil Schloss Nymphenburg gardens which is walking distance away from the apartment. In the winter (if it is cold enough) you can go ice-skating on the canals in front of the Nymphenburg palace as well as on the small ponds located in the gardens. Riding a bike in Neuhausen and Nymphenburg is a great way to explore the area. Most roads have a dedicated path for cyclists.
