The Colorado Rockies are waiting for you! This beautiful cabin is nestled in the small mountain community of Arrowhead, where homes are scattered on secluded acres full of Blue Spruce, Aspen and abundant wildlife. You can ejoy hiking, biking and 4 wheeling trails during the summers. We have 3 private fishing lakes in the community and you don't need a fishing license, just our guest pass. Blue Mesa, Colorado's largest reservoir, is only 12 miles away. It offers boat rentals and great fishing. Also, you can visit the beautiful Black Canyon National Park about 35 miles west towards Montrose. The quaint town of Lake City is a short drive and offers eateries and beautiful shops with unique gifts! Winter access is by snowmobile and sled. You can snowshoe or cross country ski right from the front door and the sledding hills are great. Whether it is solitude or adventure you're looking for, this getaway has it all! Make it your 'VACATION DESTINATION'! You'll be glad you did!

Whether you are an avid nature lover or just ready for a break, you'll enjoy sitting out on the deck watching the wildlife and deer roam freely or just relax inside with a cup of hot chocolate and a warm fire as you view the snow fall outside. Every season is beautiful on this mountain. This modern mountain getaway also comes fully equipped and is very family friendly. With a well stocked kitchen for the gourmet chef, all small appliances and utensils are available as well as an outdoor gas grill and fire pit. We also have a wide selection of spices and condiments on hand. The cabin has a great selection of reading books for all ages and a wide assortment of games and puzzles for everyone to enjoy. DVDs are available for all ages and we have an IPOD docking station. A complete inventory booklet is available to help with your vacation planning.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rental Rates are for 4 people. Extra persons are $25/night.
  • Up to 2 pets will be considered at $25/pet per night. A damage deposit of $100.00 per pet may be required in addition to the basic $250 damage deposit.
    A deposit of $250 is required to hold your reservation. Upon your arrival, the deposit converts to a damage deposit. The deposit may be refunded for a cancellation occurring at least 60 days in advance of the reservation date. After that time, no refund of deposit is available unless we are able to re-rent the cabin for the canceled days.
    CHECK IN: 4 PM CHECK OUT: 11 AM
  • Holidays such as: New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas are as follows:
    $200/night for 4 people, $30/night per extra persons. Holiday price applies to 3 days preceding and 3 days following the holiday.
    Snowmobile access only during winter months.

What a wonderful visit and a wonderfyl cabin in the woods! We had an amazing time just relaxing, hiking and enjoying the awesome scenery. The cabin is well equipped and beautifully furnished with wonderful "mountainy" treasures. We loved seeing the baby fawn and deer in the morning. What a great time.We look forward to many more getaways here, definitely worth it!! Thank you for sharing!

City escape

We thought this would be a great way to experience Colorado and escape from big city life. It was a tremendous once in a lifetime experience. You deal directly with the owner and not some management company. They could answer questions with direct knowledge and made it easy. The cabin is more like a home. My family will be making this an annual vacation.
