The designer-owner has furnished ALBERTINES with comfy Louis X1V sofas, 2 ottomans, antique gilt mirrors, a beautiful Vintage French gilt bed and many other finds from her travels ....and combined them with her original NZ art Collection. This is a spacious, stylish and quiet environment with lashings of dramatic mountain and lake views. The open-plan kitchen/dining/living areas open out onto a charming bricked terrace garden with beautiful roses and buxus hedging. Upstairs the three bedrooms have dramatic mountain views... and the spacious open-plan-living area also overlooking Lake Wakatipu enjoys generous sun hours all-year round. For exact distances to ski-fields , Historic Arrowtown and Queenstown CBD, check our web-site, www.albertines.co.nz ALBERTINES in the dress circle of Old Frankton, is favoured by 'locals', for overlooks the lake and is a short walk to the beach, and cafes, and short drive to the best shopping area and airport. It's a quiet area, far from the noisy all night party scene. Popular with skiers as its one of the closest holiday homes closer to the Remarkables and Coronet Ski Resorts. Our bikes are great to explore the lake tracks and to get off the beaten track. Our Family has been associated with Queenstown for 150 Years and so we have chosen the best and sunniest spot. Our guests rave about the their stay, and we have many repeat visitors.

Comments:07/11/09 Belinda Adams, Brisbane : We had a fantastic stay at Albertines. We arrived to a warm home and the kitchen stocked with all the basics such as bread, milk, coffe, tea and fruit. It was great to not have to rush out for these items on arrival. We also really enjoyed being able to spread out in a large home, with a large family it was great to be have some time to ourselves if we wanted after a day out together. We made good use of the slowcooker, often putting meals on to cook before leaving for a day of skiing and arriving home to a lovely meal which also saved us alot of money. We definitely recommend staying at Albertines as we found it a wonderful place for a family holiday!

Comments: Steve & Patti Delano, Minnesota: Fabulous place in a fabulous city and country. Our visit to New Zealand was full of beautiful sights and experiences. The little church in Arrowtown for Easter Sunday was perfect, what a quaint little town. The gliding, bungy, air and boat tour to and of Milford Sound was wonderful. Albertines is close to everything and we had everything we needed if we decided to stay in. The view is spectacular and the garden a treat. We would rate New Zealand a place to definitely return to.
