This wonderful, fully detached thatched roof house was built in 1995 in the traditional half-timbered fashion. Located on a 3,200 m2 property, you and your family will enjoy it exclusively. It has an idyllic natural garden, which is a veritable paradise for children. The German Tourist Association has awarded the house with 5 stars, the highest possible classification. It includes a large covered balcony and a large, partially covered terrace which leads to the garden. Quietly located, it has very comfortable furnishings and has been built with the best possible materials. You'll have a beautiful view across the fields to the waters of the Schoritzer Wiek. The whole house has been more than fully equipped and meticulously furnished with: a fireplace, wood beam ceilings, telephone, 5 bicycles, 1 children's bicycle, garden furniture, a covered wicker beach chair and a barbecue.

Swimming, surfing, sailing, golf: Greifswalder Bodden is approximately 3 km away. There are a number of small beaches here. The beaches and bathing areas of Binz, Sellin, Baabe and Göhren are about 20 km away on the island's east coast. There is a riding stable about 3 km away in Altkamp, and a golf course in Karnitz (about 4 km). You can sail in Lauterbach near Putbus at the 'im Jaich' marina. They also have a sailing school.

Sightseeing: Day trips to the islands of Bornholm, Hiddensee, or the Hanseatic League cities of Greifswald and Stralsund are easily to organised. In the nearby town Putbus, you can take a ride with the historic little steam train 'The racing Roland', which connects the seaside resorts of Binz, Sellin, Baabe and Göhren. A ride with this train (bicycles can be brought along) is a very special experience indeed!

Hiking, cycling: There are many possibilities for hiking and cycling through Rügen's unique landscape straight from the house.

Wer die Ruhe liebt, ist in diesem Haus bestens aufgehoben. Die Vorbereitung lief ohne Komplikationen. Nachdem wir bisher immer in Ferienwohnungen bzw. Häusern unseren Urlaub verbrachten, waren wir von diesem Haus besonders begeistert. Es gab einfach nichts, an dem es gefehlt hätte. Da die Ausflugsziele auf Rügen auch in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen sind spielte die Lage eigentlich keine Rolle. Wem also ein überdimensional eingerichtetes Haus und gleichzeitig Ruhe sucht ist hier bestens aufgehoben!

Traumhaft schönes Haus

Als wir nach widererwarten kurzer Fahrt - manchmal klappts auch auf den Straßen - die Insel Rügen am Sonntagabend erreichten, fing der Urlaub auch direkt an. Das Haus "Kiek in" entspricht exakt der Beschreibung. Ein Traumhaus! Hervorragend ausgestattet mit allem, was das Herz begehrt, wir haben uns sofort wie zu hause gefühlt. Tip-Top sauber, ein großes Lob an dieser Stelle auch an die Hausverwalterin!
Nachdem wir am 3. Tag "unseren" Traumstrand (bei Thiessow- leider etwas weit weg) gefunden hatten, haben wir uns hervorragend erholt.
Leider liegt Dumsevitz doch sehr abgelegen, und die Radwege sind in dieser Region nicht optimal, so daß wir nicht wie sonst im Urlaub nur das Fahrrad benutzen konnten.
Für alle, die Ruhe und Erholung suchen, ist dieses Haus bestens geeignet. Wir könnten uns vorstellen hier auch im Herbst oder Winter ein paar ruhige Tage zu verbringen.
