Private, quiet condominium that overlooks lovely lake. One bedroom, one bath, living and dining room with balcony, full kitchen, central heat. Park-like setting is crime free yet an easy commute. Just 15 minutes to Washington, DC; 8 minutes to Tysons Corner, Virginia. This condominium is ideal for business or pleasure trips. 37 inch HDTV with cable service, computer with working WiFi broadband connection, equipped with cooking and eating utensils, blankets, towels, detergent, other supplies. Parking spot is immediately outside private entrance in gated parking lot. Location and directions: Two blocks from major traffic hub where Interstate 495 'The Beltway' intersects Rte 50 providing easy access to Dulles and National Airport, all areas of Northern VA, MD and DC. Bus stop on corner goes directly to Dunn Loring Metro (2 mile drive from condo). From there it is a short subway ride to downtown DC and Memorials, Mall, Smithsonian and much more.

Find Peace in the Frenzy of DC

My husband and I stayed at Maureen's for a few days during a conference held in Arlington. The drive to the hotel was about ten minutes most times, which made our selection even wiser. We are from north central Kansas and it was worth the drive time to be able to collect ourselves.
As for the condo itself, it was a quiet spot right on the water's edge complete with water fowl. The view was very nice for evening meals and quiet contemplation. We used the wireless for preparing my presentation and to stay in communication with my students at the university. The owner has supplied the kitchen with most things necessary for a meal and included a washer and dryer which was nice to freshen up clothing.
We hope to go back sometime soon.
