Located bayside, south of the Key Largo 'downtown', this traditional stilt construction condo offers both a respite from urban life and entry to the fabulously self-indulgent life in the keys. In the complex there are two pools, two tennis courts, an exercise room, a private marina with a fishing and sunset viewing platform - just bring your own margaritas! Winter residents have an active social schedule - pot-luck suppers, holiday parties, yoga, pool exercise classes. Minutes away is Port Largo - scuba diving, deep sea fishing, snorkel trips, glass- bottom boat trips. Just south is Islamorada, a mecca for fishing and shopping.

Each a wonderful day trip! The best scuba diving and snorkeling in the world is five minutes away - a boat trip from Port Largo or at the National Marine Sanctuary and John Pennekamp Park. Embark on an adventurous deep sea fishing expedition or quietly glide through the Florida flats on a bone fishing charter!

Get Lazy!: Swim or float in two pools, watch the sun go down from the Sunset Dock (margarita suggested), cast a fishing lure and see what happens. Paddle slowly through mangrove forests watching for birds and manatees. Count the tiny geckos and lizards on the coconut palms outside your slider windows... Plug in your iPod and fill the air with your favorite music...

Dining: Use the totally updated kitchen or grill your steaks or snapper outside. Restaurants and pubs (some featuring local musicians) of all ratings abound in the area. I will share some local favorites and recommendations!
