A number of years ago we began travelling with our children and sought out apartment accommodations for cost, comfort and convenience. Whether in the US or abroad, with too many people for a single hotel room or one taxi, the answer was to find apartments in neighborhoods with full kitchens and access to public transit systems.
We recently travelled to NYC for a weekend to visit colleges with our teenage son. Having visited the city before, we knew that we wanted to stay in Midtown - centrally located and close to all of the sights and activity, but just far enough from it all for undisturbed sleep.
This apartment is everything the description claims! Clean and comfortable, fully stocked, extraordinarily secure and close to everything. The roof terrace is not to be missed! Kevin and his staff are extraordinarily accommodating and attentive. You really believe that they want your stay to be free of hassles, and that you get everything you are promised.
We could walk to everything - Central Park, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Boradway, Subways, Times Square. Empire State Building, Hudson River...
All of the restaurants of Midtown and Hells Kitchen are at your disposal, but don't forget you have a kitchen. The market is just down the street, and you can keep breakfast items to prepare in house. This always helps to get a faster start off to your day.
I only hope now that my son chooses to go to school in this city so that we have plenty of opportunities to return. We will definitely be staying here again!
