Yes, Rent An Island!!:
In case you're still wondering, yes this is an island property which means that when you rent our home, you basically rent the whole island. The house itself lies about 50 meters from the main beach in Isla Tortuga (officially named Tolinga which means 'turtle' in a pre-hispanic dialect). This is a beautiful white sandy beach with palm trees providing a fresh canopy and turquoise calm waters all along,
The island is 1.2 km2 in extension. It has a main beach in front of the house and a smaller private beach reachable only by the sea, swimming or on a boat. There are hiking trails that let you explore the mountaneous island and reach great vista points of the Gulf and the neighboring islands.
By law, all beaches are public in Costa Rica. Day travelers may visit the island by boat, but must leave in the afternoon as they cannot stay overnight. They are restricted to the beach and may not pass inland 50 meters beyond the beach
