Plenty of Space!:
If you are not in the mood to venture “all of the way” onto the beach, enjoy lounging on one of the Adirondack Chairs on our dune-top deck located just out the door – this deck is one of the only of its type in Bethany (as construction of these is no longer permitted).
The home features an open floor plan with a large family room, dining area and kitchen all with incredible views of the ocean. Enjoy plenty of space to just 'hang out' or partake in one the many board games supplied. Bedrooms include a spacious master bedroom with incredible master bath, a kids “bunk room” that includes two bunk beds, one with a double lower bed and also a trundle bed, another bedroom with two queen beds, another with two twins (perfect for kids), and another with a single queen bed.
There is also a Playroom that has a sleep sofa and shares a “Jack & Jill” bath with the bedroom next door. All other bedrooms have their own private baths. There are also two powder rooms, one on the ground floor (convenient to the beach) and the other off the Family Room. And there is a wet bar complete with a refreshment refrigerator on the ground floor next to the door to the beach, so you can quench your thirst with ease.
Should you actually decide to venture away from the beach, take advantage of all that the quaint town of Bethany Beach has to offer - the home is located only 5 blocks from Garfield Parkway, the commercial center of Bethany Beach. Bethany has plenty of restaurants (don’t miss the Penguin Diner!), shops and miniature golf (in season). The convenient location of our home allows you to do what we often do - park your car at the start of your vacation and don't use it again until it is time to leave.
Get out and about:
If you want to explore the area, however, the house is conveniently located near Rehoboth Beach, Ocean City, Fenwick and Dewey - all are short drives away and provide plenty of activities, from kayaking on the bay, playing golf at the many top courses, shopping at the Outlets in Rehoboth, take in a movie, amusement park or miniature golf in Ocean City, go out for a family night of crabs or enjoy the countless gourmet dining options within a 30 minutes radius.
This is a very unique property and one of the only in-town ocean front properties available for rent. Just a great home. Book in advance! This property fills quickly.
