Ouray is nestled in a valley of the San Juan Mountains with the Uncompahgre River passing through the old mining town. From the townhouse balcony you see Mt. Abrams (shown in the photo). The area provides some of the most spectacular scenery in the U.S. Ouray provides excellent views, hiking, ice climbing at Box Canyon Falls, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ice skating, sledding, soaking in the natural year round outdoor hot springs, nature watching, cycling, mountain biking, shops, and restaurants. The townhouse is very close to highway 550 eliminating any need to worry about being snowed in and missing your flight.
