Casa Marco is the perfect excuse for abandoning the world and letting it make do on its own while you enjoy this little corner of paradise. Casa Marco is that part of life (which we have all imagined at some time) in which time flows serenely in a small community of fishermen surrounded by marvellous beaches and picturesque places. Casa Marco is on Zicatela Beach, the most private Eden one can imagine: a rare privilege nowadays… And like any paradise worth its salt, Casa Marco was created for just one couple, but as whim would have it there’s room for two, since it has two bedrooms. Its construction pays homage to parota (a tropical wood resembling teak), bejuco (a vine similar to rattan), and the palm leaf (of which palapas, or palm-thatched shelters, are made). The bedrooms, kitchen and living room are roofed with concrete domes, but only the palm thatching is visible from the exterior, thus creating a practical, aesthetic, and luminous effect, while keeping the interior coo
