Photos and Description of this Columbia Falls holiday cottage 2 br, 2 ba, sleeps 6

Beautiful, serene cottage with 5 wooded acres on the Flathead River including views into Glacier National Park. The property is full of wildlife and has 250 feet of river frontage for fishing or rafting. That property also allows for beautiful, secluded weddings right on the water with a gazebo and boardwalk. We are able to accommodate small and large wedding parties. We also have a list of locals we work with and recommend for rentals and photography. We have a number of different wedding packages and prices, please inquiry for details. Also, the cottage can be rented as part of our wedding package for guests or for the bride and wedding party to get ready. We will be taking wedding reservation dates starting September 17, 2009. The cottage is conveniently located in the Flathead Valley just minutes from shopping, great dining, and outdoor recreation. It is 10 min from Whitefish/Big Mountain, 15 min from Glacier National Park, 5 min from Glacier Airport, 20 min from Bigfork/Flathead Lake, 10 min from Kalispell, and only 2 min from Columbia Falls. The cottage was newly remodeled in the Summer of '08 and has all new appliances/furnishings. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, front and side porches. The cottage is fully furnished, ready for guests!

CONVENIENT - VALUE - COMFORT - FAVORITE RETREAT

My wife and I like to stay 2 weeks at a time. We have found the location to be one of the best in the Flathead Valley. Being north of Kalispell, placed us closer to Glacier Park and the Whitefish area. We love going to these two areas to sight see and shop. The location is only 2 miles to the Columbia Falls grocery stores and restaurants. The Cottage was very clean with 2 up to date bathrooms. It also had cable TV and Internet hook ups if you need them. The washer and dryer was very convenient for us because of our extend stay. The Cottage is also on a hard surface road that turns into a dead end. This kept the location quiet. One of the best things my wife and I liked was the private walks we could take on the property through the trees and end up sitting along the bank of the Flathead River. We could just enjoy the mountains at sunrise or sunset, look at Glacier Park and even watch the bears swimming across the Flathead River. I like to fish and you could actually see the fish in the water before you cast your line. I would have to say it doesn't get any better than this. If you want a great experience make sure you book this one early. Once the word gets out, this one will go fast.
Thanks Avione for providing a place where Montana's beauty is shown so well and at the same time so convenient. The only thing I disliked was having to leave.

We loved our stay in Montana!

We absolutely love our stay in Montana and the cottage was great! It had everything we need and then some. It was very comfortable and the location worked out perfect; close to Glacier National Park and yet felt like we had our own private oasis. The hike to Hidden Lake in GNP is a must a long with The Backroom BBQ, yummy! The fire pit and fishing was a lot of fun at the cottage and we feel in love with the place as we had the wonderful view into Glacier from the river. This place is a must visit and we will definitely stay at the cottage again when we return to Montana!!! Thanks for sharing your cottage with us!!!
