The latter can be employed to view the Moir foliage and birds or enjoy the colors of a classic Kauai sunset. We have strived to create a warm casual atmosphere highlighted by pictures of Kauai and prints from local artists. Mahogany paneling and refurbished wood furniture we believe enhances our goal to the outside indoors (kitchen, vanity, and bedroom pictures are unavailable at his time, however, will be added to site during our Oct. visit--once again, all 3 rooms were rated 'A' by our Homeowners association).
We are 20 year owners and have explored many of the major Kauai hiking trails as evidenced by our photos (Kauai is without doubt boasts the most scenic and geographically diversified trails in the islands--also refer to our Google map for trail locations and descriptions). Susan and I are also avid golfers and as such intimately acquainted with every course on Kauai. Our experiences which also include snorkeling, kayaking, secluded beaches, and local eating spots are freely shared with guests.
After 20 years, we recently installed our 3rd guest book after filling the first two. Comments contained therein are exceptionally complimentary of their Kauai and unitxperience. These books also serve as a valuable reference guide for new guests.
Golf:
(5) 18 hole golf courses are within 30 minute drive. They include Wailua (2 time site of the National Pub Links amateur golf tournament), Poipu Bay (former site of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf), and Marriot Lagoons--Kiele Course (our personal favorite on Kauai). Green Fees range from only $60.00/round plus cart on Wailua to $160 at Poipu Bay. We are avid golfers and have played not only these but the Princeville Courses located on North Shore thus please inquire as to details on any of same.
