This modern three bedroom lakeside home features a large stone fireplace with beam ceiling in the great room and a 180 degree view of beautiful Lake Santeetlah and the Smokey Mountains. A covered patio at lakeside features a wood burning fire pit adjacent to the boat dock. A multitude of mountain activities abound within an hours drive of this home. Lake Santeetlah is ideally located in the midst of the Nantahala National Forest, and adjacent to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. Lake Santeetlah is a quiet place as it is too far removed from major metro areas for 'day boater' to visit. The primary users are the residents. This is a vacation destination that you will tell your friends about. Water Skiing, Swimming, Boating, Fishing, Whitewater Sports, Hiking, Horseback Riding, Sightseeing, Gem Mining, and mountain vistas that are beyond description.

Located adjacent to the southern slopes of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and in the midst of the Nantahala National Forest one finds magnificent Lake Santeetlah, 'The Gem of the Smokies'. With 80 miles of shoreline, only 10% will ever be developed for private use. The balance is the lands of the National Forest. The Town of Lake Santeetlah, is a resort community on the shores of the lake, and our rental home is ideally located to take advantage of lakefront living, and the beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. These mountains range to over a mile high, and feature some of the best wilderness hiking in the country. Our Trout Streams leave nothing to be desired. Warning: Come visit and you will not want to leave!
