My husband, little boy and I just returned from this property and it is a real find. The owner is lovely and makes the stay very comfortable and enjoyable and she has excellent local knowledge. She will be on hand as much or as little as you like. The pool, location and views are lovely and there is a lot of exploring to do from the villa amongst the bamboo planting.
The accomodation was all we needed and was comfortable. The gardens are private and the setting is peaceful. There is a real feeling of going back to nature at Oxentina. Even the neighbours (who are still a short distance away from this private setting) are very friendly and you can even buy some fabulous fresh olive oil from them!
Even though you are 'away from it all' the town is only a 10 minutes drive away where you can find everything you need in any of a number of supermarkets or local shops or restaurants. Monaco and the French Riviera are within an hour as are the pretty little seaside resorts on the Italian Riviera of Flowers.
We would recommend this property and we hope to return. If you want a peaceful escape with in a special location with beautiful scenery then Oxentina is for you.
