Although close to Duval, the cottage is a quiet escape, since it is set back in its own little world of peace. You can kick back, just outside your cottage close to the 12 ft. x 24 ft. shared pool. Or just relax on the decking surrounding the pool under the sun in day and the stars at night or on your own private deck, which leads along the meandering brick pathways. A Gas BBQ has been provided, so that you can prepare your favorite meats and foods outside, anytime.
The single story cottage will sleep 2 very comfortably and is a studio for the budget minded folks that don't want a hotel room and you get all the comforts that you have at home, but in a smaller setting. The living space has a Queen sized bed, and storage space, plus an eating area and a complete mini fully functional kitchen area.
The flooring is a nice Dade county pine floor. A washer and dryer is provided in its own private secured room. You can cool down with a dip in the pool or enjoy the new Air conditioning, within the cottage! And your own private parking spot! No fussing with trying to find a parking place, because you have one!
It is very private and quiet! Puts you in a place of peacefulness!
I have provided free DSL internet & wireless, phone, and cable TV too. I also provided the use of many bicycles, which I have on the compound. And use of a safe at no additional cost. Its located in the heart of old town, this cottage is the perfect spot to enjoy the sites and sounds of historic Key West. Enjoy the excitement of the tropical evening, night life, just a minute’s walk over to Duval Street. Not far from where Hemmingway hung out at 'Sloppy Joe’s'. You also get your own private front parking spot, right in front of the Petronia Palms compound and off the main street.
I have decorated the Petronia Palms cottages with carefully chosen colors, furnishings and fabrics, to remind you that you truly are in a tropical oasis, but with the Key West flare! The traditional Caribbean blues, yellows, greens and cottage style furnishings, make you feel as though you are in paradise, as you grab your favorite book and mix your favorite frozen beverage, in the fully equipped kitchen. Centrally located, you can bike or walk to the beaches or visit the special boutiques and restaurants up and down Duval Street!
