Our charming house awaits you in a romantic hamlet, set in a landscape of olive groves, vineyards and forests where the scent of lavender, rosemary and thyme hangs in the air. We have used our artistic flair to refurbish it in an elegant style, retaining its traditional character, while at the same time making it more comfortable by incorporating luxurious furnishings. Our apartment has kept its local 3 * rating for years. Private garden and parking spaces. Situated in the south of France, in the Languedoc Roussillon region, which, with its combination of sea, the Camargue, Provence and the Cevennen Mountains, has much to offer. Whether in the countryside, by the sea, or on the Gard or Herault rivers: activities and sport for all ages, the chance to discover splendid scenery and romantic wine villages. Shopping opportunities with a wide variety of boutiques and lively, colourful, provincial markets. Stroll around and shop in the beautiful cities of Nîmes, Montpellier, Uzes or Anduze.

Our charming region follows the course of the River Vidourle, from its source in the Cevennen Mountains to the sea. It takes in the changing colourful landscape of Provence with its fertile vineyards and ‘Garrigue’ holm oak forests and to the south the Camargue with its wide, open sandy beaches, dunes and lagoons - a paradise for waterfowl, pink flamingos, free-ranging horses and bull herds. Quality vineyards and olive groves surround the medieval wine village of Corconne charmingly tucked up against a formidable rock face. A typical Romanic chapel that looks out to sea is on the other side of the gorge. Our romantic hamlet with its historic stone houses lies to the south, towards the Camargue and the Pic St. Loup.

In the low season we accept weekend or weekday reservations if available.

Ski: Go skiing in the sunny south, just 50 minutes away! On Mont Aigual (1567 m) in the Cevennen mountains. Skiing, sledging, snowshoeing and surfing are possible during many months of the year, whether for adults or children. Equipment can be hired. An activity worth considering is a hiking descent starting on a snowy mountain slope and finishing on a sunny beach.

Other Activities: Climbing, canoeing, kayaking, adventure park, cave visits, gliding and hang gliding.

14.1.06 *** Familie Scherzinger aus Niedereschach *** Ich möchte Ihnen noch einmal für die freundliche Aufnahme in Ihrem wunderbaren Haus danken. Meine Familie und ich (7 Personen) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sowohl die Größe als auch die gemütliche und komfortable Ausstattung des Domizils haben uns angenehm überrascht. Die komplett eingerichtete Küche hat mir als Hobbykoch ganz besondere Freude gemacht. Selten haben wir so harmonische Weihnachten und Silvester verbracht, wie in der angenehmen Ruhe Ihres historischen Hauses. Aber auch das Shoppen in den nahe gelegenen Städten wie Montpellier, Nimes und die Märkte waren eine schöne Abwechslung für uns. Ob römische oder mittelalterliche Vergangenheit, mehr kann kaum eine andere Region bieten. Abschließend kann ich Ihnen versichern, dass wir uns nicht nur wohl gefühlt, sondern von Ihnen auch willkommen und aufgenommen gefunden haben. Hierfür vielen Dank! Wir würden gerne auch den Sommerurlaub 2006 bei Ihnen verbringen.

Eine rundum wunderbare Woche!

Das Haus ist ein wunderschöner, romantischer Rückzugsort, der von den Vermietern äußerst liebevoll und umfangreich ausgestattet wurde. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen perfekten Urlaub braucht, inkl. Strandliegestühlen, Wäscheständer etc. pp. und einer unglaublich gut ausgestatteten, riesigen, wunderbaren Küche. Ein echtes Highlight für Hobbyköche! Es war wirklich alles da, was man sich vorstellen kann; die Ausstattung geht weit über das normale Maß für ein Mietferienhaus hinaus. Es war topgepflegt und sehr sauber. Die Vermieter sind sehr sympathisch und freundlich; man wird vor Ort allerbestens betreut im Hinblick auf Restaurant-, Strand- u. Freizeittipps. Die Vermieterin half sogar noch mit ihrer privaten Kühlbox für ein Picknick aus.
Wir können dieses Ferienhaus ohne Einschränkung weiterempfehlen. Wirklich 5 Sterne wert!
