This place is remote and private. The entire property sits on a wooded hilltop. The property is surrounded by an 8 foot fence to manage the elk herd. Once you come up the hill and close the 8foot double gates you have removed your self from the outside world and random visitors.
Many people enjoy the huge outside deck for sunbathing.

The Elk Ridge owner is a former steak house owner and trained as a chef in Bangkok. Ask us about catering your event with a special dinner or a HOG ROAST and or hay ride!
Owner is also trained in a few RAW foods dishes.
Or....ask us about supplying your group with some elk steaks or burgers!
HAY WAGON RIDE- ELK VIEWING- or Wine Ride:
Ask us about a haywagon ride for your group and you can even help us feed the elk each evening. Perfect for kids of all ages. Either the kids on an evening ride or the adults enjoying a glass of wine on the hay wagon.
Ski:
Paoli Peaks Ski resort is only 30 minutes drive from the grand lodge.

I have played golf on 4 continents, many fantastic tracks over my years. The track at twin peaks is no doubt the worst golf course in the world. The greens are fast and you can play all through the night causing additional hangover pain. Take two clubs, a wedge and a putter. The short game is tough, its fun but its really a nasty course that should be played just so you can tell your friends that you played the worst course on the planet. Just 15 minutes away from quite possibly the best golf you will find in the Midwest.....dye & ross.
