Our recently outfitted and renovated apartment (about 75 m²) is in an old half-timbered manor house. It includes a combined living/dining room with integrated kitchen (fully furnished) and a big dining table. Just relax in the comfortable three-piece suite with extending sofa and satellite television. The bathroom is luxuriously equipped with a bathtub, shower, toilet and washing machine. In the romantic bedroom located in the attic you will find a divan bed, a sleeping couch and a cot for little children. In the garden there is a place for a barbecue including seats available to you. Furthermore we also have guest boxes for horses and carriages plus a bicycle shelter. Enjoy pure nature and the freedom of movement for you and your children. The apartment was built nearly exclusively of natural wood and treated by biological measures.

The region around the highest mountain (Donnersberg 687m) is situated within the city triangle Mainz-Worms-Kaiserslautern. The motorways A61 and A63 as well as three railroad tracks connect us to the rest of the world. Frankfurt airport is just 40 minutes away if you take the motorway. You can reach the famous town 'Heidelberg' in one hour by car. The Münsterhof stands out because it is situated in a very quiet area. It also includes a small private horse breeding. The nearby forests make the Münsterhof a perfect starting point for hikers and horsemen. The horse-centre 'Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar' is just 1,5km away. Want to improve your handicap? The golf course is at a 3 km distance. The highest mountain of the Palatinate gives its name to this wonderful region which is on season all the year round. Forests, meadows, fields, and vineyards accompany the hiker on romantic paths. At the slopes of the Alsenz and Zeller valleys exquisite vine is grown.

Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage auf dem Münsterhof der mit seiner Historik und dem alten Fachwerk beeindruckt hat. Die Kinder waren begeistert von den Pferden und durften im Stall mithelfen.
Der nahegelegene Donnersberg war ein interessantes Ausflugsziel für die ganze Familie.
Bei schlechtem Wetter sind wir ins Montemare-Schwimmbad gefahren, das einen tollen Kleinkinder Schwimmbereich bietet.
Wir kommen gerne wieder um ein paar erholsame Tage auf dem Münsterhof zu haben, fern ab von der Großstadt wo man nur vor die Tür gehen braucht und die Kinder mit den radeln los sausen können auf endlosen Wirtschaftswegen.

Ein absolutes Reiterparadies! Ruhige Wald- und Wiesenwege, wo man reiten kann bis zum abwinken. Im Münsterhof liegen auch Karten aus wie, wohin, wie weit mit Pferd .........
