The Property:
This more than 115,000 m2 natural paradise will be yours almost exclusively. Our vacation chalet is approximately 100 m2 in size and suitable for two to five guests. For those who prefer to be close to nature, two to four additional guests can stay in our rustic boathouse. This natural paradise is protected from view and consists of a landscape that is half water and kept accessible by five bridges. Nine docks, more than 50 park benches, a 12 m high hunting blind with a view of the Bavarian Forest and many idyllic spots all help to make this exclusive spot perfect for rest and relaxation. A walk in and around this natural paradise offers you the opportunity to encounter and experience the multifarious fauna and fauna. More than 100 different trees, bushes and plants await you. If you are lucky, you may even see a kingfisher, our heraldic animal, or some migrating swans.
Recreation & Golf:
Our guests have the choice of approximately 30 interesting golf courses, which they can play and experience - all of which are located 20 to 60 minutes' drive away. Or simply stay here in your paradise and meet the challenge of our own unique, nine hole precision course. With its wintergreens, it is available exclusively for our guests. Once or twice a month, nine holes are added to the course and the Burgstall Precision Cup is played amongst a small group of enthusiasts. You'll also be able to enjoy the unique opportunity of contesting a match on Lower Bavaria's one and only grass tennis court, right here on our property. Or maybe you'd prefer to take out the rowboat or the paddleboat and enjoy the water's solitude, perhaps with a cigar and a fine Grappa? Should you bring rod and reel, you'll have an excellent chance of landing tench, a grand carp, or pike. Quiet Zone:
Would you prefer to enjoy the sun in the Chalet, or the swimming spot next to the boathouse (with TV and radio connection), or the setting sun from the balcony, or in the arbor on the rose island? Evenings, when the property is beautifully illuminated, you may want to take advantage of the portable barbecue and the open fireplace. Find a cozy spot, barbecue at the arbor's fire pit, enjoy the dancing flames, or simply share the day's experiences. After a nightcap in the arbor, look forward to yet another day and another golf course. You may wish to seek out some of the many interesting sights, or to take a drive to the Bavarian Forest for a hike or a mushroom hunt. Ski:
During the winter, our vacation paradise offers guests exclusive ice-skating, curling, and cross-country skiing, both on and around our own waters. Children can go tobogganing. Not half an hour away, miles of cross-country trails, ski hills and toboggan runs will help to keep you fit. Afterwards you can enjoy our sauna, a delicious dinner or just relax at the fire place.
Golf:
Our nine-hole precision course is an absolutely fascinating experience for the avid golfer. Once or twice a month, nine holes are added to it. The course is not public, and with one or two exceptions yearly, it is available exclusively to our guests. As all nine holes have water hazards, the course can cost quite a few balls (be sure to bring enough). The Biotope Pitch, the Lake Drive, the Waterfall Pitch and the Monster Hole are all especially challenging. Want to get in a bit of practice? Then head to our rough putting green, or enjoy a bit of asphalt putting. Whenever you want and however you want it, your vacation paradise offers you pure golfing pleasure.
