Villa Dolphin is a new house which was built amidst a picturesque landscape in Praia da Luz. In the villa neighbourhood, you’ll find plenty of peace and quiet. The villa has three bedrooms, three WCs and a spacious living room with a dining area and an open fireplace. From the living room, you’ll have a very beautiful view over the planted atrium. The house has central heating which is connected to each room. The villa is a perfect place to spend the winter months in sunny southern Europe. It is comfortably furnished. It includes a dishwasher, a washing machine, a central vacuum cleaner, a refrigerator and a freezer. It is located 800m from the sea on a 1,100m2 property which is surrounded by a ´living fence´, assuring a natural environment within its confines. The entire property has been beautifully planted with plants, shrubs and natural grasses.

The villa is situated on the southern part of a crescent with sandy beach and a steep, very natural coast. This is an ideal spot for snorkelling and fishing and just 800m away. Praia de Luz is very centrally located making it a very good starting point for many different activities. There are good restaurants and English pubs in the town.

Notes: Bedding and towels are included. There is a weekly cleaning service with change of hand towels, bath towels and bedding. An extra bed can be provided. A travel cot is included. What makes Villa Dophin so special is that you´ll be right amidst nature on our property which is fenced-in and secure. Additionally, the property is surrounded by a protective hedge which will shield you from prying eyes. Animals (uninvited dogs) cannot gain access to the property without your consent. The entire property has been planted with palms, roses, shrubs, citrus trees, cactuses, natural terraces and a fig tree. The kidney-shaped, saltwater pool is accessible from the living room. It is well suited for children as it slopes gradually from the shallow end to the deep end which is 1.7 meters deep.

The Dream Beaches of Meia Praia and D. Ana: The sandy beach of Meia Praia ( Half Moon) is located about 5 minutes from the Lagos harbor. This beautiful sandy beach is a few kilometres long and offers many different sports, cafes and restaurants. Travelling westwards from Lagos towards Praia de Luz, you’ll come to D. Ana, one of the Algarve’s most beautiful cliff beaches. There you can find many small sandy coves with only a few tourists. There is a platform located next to it from where the Ponta da Piedade, far out in the Atlantic, is visible. On clear days, you’ll be able to see all the way to Salema in the West, and Albufeira in the South. A camera is recommendable.

Riding and Boating: There are riding trips approximately 5 minutes away from Villa Dolphin. You can participate on day trips with western saddles, barbecues in the heart of nature or riding lessons. Our guests have special status. There are boat trips where you can take a very impressive trip from Portmao harbour. On board they offer you fishing, barbecuing, music and plenty of fun. Golf: There are three golf courses available near the house. Boavista is two minutes drive away and Palmares and Parque Floresta are five minutes drive away. All other courses can be reached in just a few minutes via the recently completed highway. Golfing in the Algarve is not expensive. The Algarve golf pass is the most inexpensive, allowing you to play on 11 of the Algarve´s courses.

Unser Urlaub in diesem Haus war einer unserer schönsten! Die Villa ist super gepflegt, top ausgestattet, gemütlich und sehr sauber! Eine ruhige Gegend und ein wunderschöner Garten machen den Aufenthalt perfekt. Leider kann man hier auf den Bildern nicht sehen wie schön dieses Haus wirklich ist.

Ein wirklich schönes Haus mit traumhaftem Pool und Garten. Auf den Fotos kommt das alles leider nicht so gut rüber, alles ist wirklich viel schöner als auf den Bildern. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Wir würden am liebsten sofort wieder hin fahren :-)

Es ist zwar schon einige Zeit (Juni/Juli 2007) her, aber im Nachhinein gebe ich gerne noch eine Bestnote für unseren Urlaub damals. Das Haus ist supergepflegt, sehr schön eingerichtet, der Pool klein aber ausreichend. Wir waren dort mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern und haben uns sauwohl gefühlt. Es ist absolut ruhig in diesem Villenviertel und man hat tatsächlich durch die Hecken ringsum absolute Privacy. Das Haus ist viel schöner als es hier auf den Fotos zum Ausdruck kommt.
