The south-facing cottage (a former olive press) made of natural stone with ocean view and a large terrace and a balcony on the top floor. The Mediterranean garden a with palms and citrus plants is quiet and picturesque. It is located on the southwest beach of Castello von Chiusanico, surrounded by olive groves. There is a very unique view of the valley and villages of the Impero on Imperia bay from the terrace and garden. On a clear day you can see the silhouette of Corsica and Elba. It is a 20 min drive to the beaches. Our beautiful, spacious house has more than the general holiday house furnishings, it has atmosphere, ambience and a lovingly equipped kitchen in Ligurian style. There are cross-vaults in one bedroom. Both the Salotto on the top floor (50 m²) with a fantastic panoramic view and the living/dining room (fireplace) on the ground floor have villa-like ceiling heights of 6.30 m.

Castello von Chiusanico was a Ligurian fortress. The oldest buildings are from the 13th century. Lore boasts that Christopher Columbus was supposedly born here. The picturesque town with medieval lanes and vaults is a pedestrian area. There is a supermarket in the valley about 10 min away by car. Taggiasca olives (extra virgin olive oil) and wine are grown here. It is an ideal starting point for hikes.
