'The relaxed laid back feeling of the Keys' with the trade winds blowing every night. There is lot of privacy and yet you are viewing the bay. Plenty of space for up to 3 people. Decorated with the relaxed feeling in mind and renovated for comfort. The master bedroom has a king size bed that is amazing, Huge tropical trees and foliage surround you and this double lot. There is space for large family meals or small cozy meals and a yard that is right on the canal. Plenty of dock space is available for you to enjoy '70' ft and min. to the ocean thru Marvin D. Cut and you are on the bay. You can connect your boat to utilities for a live aboard. WIFI in the area. Mm 101 Publix grocery across the street.The bus stops every 30 min. and takes you to Keywest or Miami. Bring your boat, kayak or your bike. Kayaking is the best here with the everglades just at your doorstep. Manatees come into the canal, daily in the winter. You are on Tarpon Bay.

This cottage is located aprox. half way between Key West and South Beach.Both are great day trips. If you just want peace and quite, Key Largo is very quite.There is a great local bar scene. World famous Coral Reef State Park, Johnpennykamp is 1/2 a mile away. Hwy 1 to Key West is a scenic hwy.

  • The bathroom is large. The shower stall is adequate. The shower has great pressure but it needs a little time to be adjusted before you get in, as it is a radiant water heater.

  • There is one bedroom with a king size bed and in the living room, dinning area, there is a full size convertible bed. The king size bed is the best mattress and it is amazing, the convertible bed is very conformable as well. All linens and bed spreads are washed and it is very clean!

Notes: You can smoke outside as there are chairs under the carport, and all over the yard. Small dogs that are well behaved are OK. Everything is in the cottage. You could bake a cake if you wanted to. Local fish markets and a grocery store are within walking distance.There is a library you can walk to. There is a liquor store within walking distance. A arts and craft store as well. Locally is a water park with a heated pool. There are two private beaches here in the village, that are very nice and clean. If you are experienced I will let you use the canoe. There are miles of mangroves and a party island to explore. The dolphin rescue is in our bay and you can canoe over to watch them exercise. There are all kinds of theme parties to go to at our local bars. Pirates and Booty calls are sometimes the themes. In March there is going to be a woofstock (bowwow) in one of our beautiful parks that should be interesting.
