Palmetto Bay Plantation is an Eco-Friendly resort in the Bay Islands of Honduras. Continental and Delta fly non-stop from the states. The Island of Roatan is easily reached from US or Europe. The Island is a number 1 Diving area as the reef is so pristine! The reef is in a protected marine park, there is no fee, just don your gear and start snorkeling! You just walk right in, the reef is that close at West Bay Beach! Please remember to bring eco-friendly sun block. This can be found on the Target website. It helps to preserve the reef and keep the fish bright and healthy. Cactus Juice sun lotion is available and is a very good sun block and bug repellent. There is a washer and dryer in the home.

Palmetto Bay is a secluded paradise. It is about 10 minutes from West End, and West Bay Beach, The beach at Palmetto is beautiful, amazing sunsets and a shipwreck right off shore! Also we are close to the longest Zipline in Central America! It is a haven for families and couples alike. Very private, quite, and home to many weddings as it is the most romantic resort on the Island.

Notes: Palmetto Bay Plantation is a wonderful eco friendly community. There are many long time permanent residents and they always welcome the visitors! This is a very Romantic resort and Island, in fact, the reality show Temptation Island was filmed here! There is a house keeper available for an extra charge. Currently house is not a/c. However it is coming so check back on that. This is a home in a resort on a beach. The home has water view, restaurant, pool, massage therapist available, horseback riding, snorkeling, diving, nature walks, and of course sun worshiping! Even if you have the kids with you, this is a romantic place that is friendly.It is gated and very safe.
