A very spacious and open (3500 sq ft), you will continually find new, interesting, and discretely placed artifact displays and features not easily found anywhere else. Everywhere, inside and outside, oozes with imaginative and palpable African atmosphere. Feelings of restful relaxation, contentment, and happiness quickly set in and a very comfortable 'home away from home' feeling ensues. African Dream Catcher features extensive decorating using western cedar including a 28 foot high beamed cathedral ceiling in the Great Room; 60 feet ( 20 meters) of side-by-side panoramic 'floor to ceiling' windows overlooking the very close-by lake; two fireplaces & a wood stove; three-season porch with indoor barbecue; unbelievable African (safari lodge-type) Kontiki-Bar; spacious, exotically African, master bedroom with bamboo cathedral ceilings, 50 inch HDTV; an unbelievable 'tropical ocean”– themed en-suite with deep claw-foot tub and walk-in three-head grohe shower; two balconies with amazing views of the lake and gardens below. All in all, a very tastefully specialized African décor with a huge 'wow' factor. The African Dream Catcher lake and waterfront are absolutely gorgeous. No steep descent; and just 30 feet (10 meters) away. Excellent swimming; docks, canoe, paddleboat, kayaks, etc. Beautiful perennial rock garden landscaping both in front and back.
African Dream Catcher provides logistically simple getaways. You need only bring a suitcase, your food, and items of personal interest i.e. books, golf clubs, swim fins & snorkel, etc. (Absolutely?) everything is provided in very good quality. 1-hour, (on the Quebec side) from Canada’s beautiful capital city - 'Ottawa,' including its host of renown museums, galleries, festivals, etc. African Dream Catcher is so confident in its facilities that we guarantee your satisfaction, for reasonable issues within our control, of course.
