The medieval property is located on the foothills of the Dolomites at about 500 m above sea level in the most forested region in Italy. The original character of this piece of land invites you to relax far from usual tourism. The Casa is located above the small village of Laverda (5 minute drive). There you will find a few small grocery shops and two restaurants and a pizzeria. Due to the central location of the house, it is possible to see a lot of cities (Venice, Padua, Verona, Treviso, Vicenza) within about a one hour drive. At the same time, you can also get to High Alps, the sea or to different small lakes (for example, Lago di Caldonazzo). Nearby you will find medieval cities (Bassano del Grappa, Marostica, Thiene, Asolo), parks and villas (built by Palladi) to visit. For athletic guests, there are optimal options for mastering the mountains by bike or mountain bike.

The apartment has a private entrance and is about 180 m2 and goes over two floors. On the first level you will find the large central living room (5 meters high), with a gallery, open fireplace, very well equipped kitchenette (washing machine, oven and countless kitchen devices). Furthermore, here you will also find two bedrooms, each with 2 beds and a bathroom (shower). You can get to the second floor through the gallery into another bedroom (two beds) with a bathroom. All rooms are comfortably and cozily furnished (satellite TV available). In the garden, cozy seats are distributed on multiple sun patios with a view into the valley. Parking options are available at the house.

This was a truly lovely villa, though the photos on the website do not do it justice, as they were obviously taken some years ago. The garden has now matured and been landscaped and makes a lovely place to chill out and relax in. The description of the house was as stated and the views from the apartment were stunning - however it wasn't easy to find - be prepared for a long drive up twisty steep mountain roads! it was definetely worth it though, as the owners (who live 'on site') were warm and welcoming and helped to make our stay extra special. We would certainly recommend this villa to our friends (except we'd rather keep it to iourselves!)

Hier lässt es sich sehr gut entspannen in einem, wunderschön mit sehr viel Charm und Geschmack umgebauten, Bauernhaus mit einem traumhaften Garten oberhalb eines kleinen Ortes mit herrlichem Blick. Äußerst nette unter anderem auch deutschsprechende Besitzerfamilie vor Ort. Sehr gute Wander- u. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten.

Eine Woche waren wir Gast in dieser wunderschönen Ferienwohnung im Herzen Venetiens. Ein Haus mit Stil und Geschmack und wunderbaren, großzügigen Gastgebern. Von kleinen Tipps und Empfehlungen bis zur Einweihung in die Geheimnisse eigener Kirschmarmeladenherstellung standen Sie uns bei Begehr zur Verfügung. Alles in allem sehr entspannt, seriös und unkompliziert. Als Ausgangspunkt um die Region zu erkunden, liegt die Fewo ideal. Sowohl ein Tagesausflug nach Venedig, Bassano de Grappa, Asolo, Marostica..alles ist sehr gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Für Architektur Interessierte gibt es zahlreiche Palladio Villen in der Region zu bewundern. Vielen Dank!
