Photos and Description of this Radicondoli holiday chateau / country house

Our lovely guest house, built in the eighteenth century, is called 'Fienile'. It was once a granary and is constructed of natural fieldstone. We restored it to the original style, with authentic Tuscan marble tables and furniture. It now gives a warm and welcoming ambience. Fienile is situated near the principal family farm house, Pennanino, and surrounded by the beautiful Sienese hills and our olive groves. The natural environment has been maintained. The house has a wonderful garden, where one can have a meal or share a bottle of wine with a beautiful view of the countryside. One can easily relax and find tranquillity here. There are many nearby cultural and natural attractions.

Radicondoli--Siena--Tuscany. Radicondoli is a picturesque medieval village, perfectly preserved. Its altitude is 500 metres, and only 1.5 kilometres from Podere Pennanino. Radicondoli has 800 inhabitants, with bars, lovely shops, and restaurants serving classic Tuscan cuisine. There is a pharmacy and a doctor, in case of emergencies. There are two rivers nearby, where one can swim. The favourite Tuscan tourist destinations -- Volterra, San Gimignano, Florence and Siena -- are all within one hour's drive. From Fienile, you can see all the cultural sites of this famous and historic region. We are one hour from the Tyrreanian seaside, with its tranquil bays and seaside attractions. We are also in an important wine region, and we are only fifteen minutes by car from famous Chianti region of the Sienese hills.

Notes: The house has traditional Tuscan furniture. It has two floors. The first floor is for dining and relaxing, or you can eat outside in the garden. There is a small kitchen and bath. The garden begins directly outside the front door. The second floor is a loft floor, overlooking the first. The first room has a double bed, and the second room is attached to the first -- one leads into the other -- with two single beds. It is ideal for a family with two children. In the house, there is indoor heating, thus we welcome visitors even in the wintertime! The garden is sculpted in the traditional Tuscan style, with oleander, rosemary, lavender and the typical vegetation of the southern Europe.

I am physical therapist and I have a small practice in the village of Radicondoli. I offer a wellness program to our guests, with massage, lymph-drainage, and gymnastics. Wir haben im Mai zwei wunderbare Wochen in der Toskana verbracht. Wer Ruhe und Natur sucht kommt hier ganz auf seine Kosten. Das Haus, rustikal und liebevoll eingerichtet, steht abseits der Straße inmitten von Weinbergen.Trotz der einsamen Lage sind die sehenswerten Ziele gut zu erreichen
(wenn die Autobatterie mitspielt ).Auch hier hat uns unser Vermieter Roberto sehr gut unterstützt. Vielen Dank nochmal!
Diese Domizil können wir bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen: schöne Lage, gute Betreuung, viel Ruhe uns Sonne und nicht zu vergessen, die nette Gesellschaft von Lola (der süßen Hündin der Vermieter).

La dolce fare niente

Sucht man eine behagliche, ursprüngliche und gemütliche Behausung im Herzen der wunderschönen Toskana ist man hier genau richtig. Das Haus liegt in den ruhigen Hügeln unterhalb des Örtchens Radicondoli, in traumhafter Lage zwischen Weinreben und Olivenbäumen. Die Ausstattung ist zweckmäßig, jedoch mit Liebe zum Detail und das mehrsprachig bestückte Bücherregal bietet anregende Alternativen, sollte die eigene Urlaubslektüre einmal erschöpft sein. Der liebevoll gepflegte Garten lädt mit Hängematte, Liegestühlen und Tischtennisplatte zum „Daueraufenthalt“ ein – Sonnenhungrige wie Schattensuchende werden sich hier Zuhause fühlen. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit und die anhängende Tierfamilie, bestehend aus einem netten kleinen Hund und einigen schmusefreudigen Katzen, ist eine wunderbare Bereicherung. Alle prominenten Ausflugsziele wie Siena, Florenz, San Gimignano, das Chianti, Montalcino, Montepulciano oder auch die Küste des ligurischen Meeres sind innerhalb max. einer Autostunde zu erreichen und machen die Podere Pennanino somit zu einem idealen Ausgangspunkt, das italienische „Reich der Sinne“ auf eigene Faust zu erkunden. Wir haben hier jedenfalls viele glückliche Stunden verbracht und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wer es ruhig mag ist hier genau richtig. Trotzdem ist es nicht weit ins Dorf, sogar zu Fuß möglich.
Schöne rustikale Wohnung, komplett ausgestattet und in einer tollen Lage.
Großer, liebevoll angelegter Garten mit Pergola-Terassenplatz steht zur Verfügung.
Gerne gehe ich da wieder hin!
