An authentic Ticino villa with panoramic views, built in the 16th century with a nice private garden and swimming pool. The big flat (ground and first floor) has a living area of 120 sq. meters. On the ground floor there is a spacious living room with fire place with hot air circulation and a large sun-terrace; a kitchen with dining table as well as a bath room. On the first floor there are three bedrooms, two with a double bed and one with a single bed and if needed a extra bed. As well a toilet. From each room you will have a marvellous lake view. The centrally heated flat is partially renovated and equipped with antique furniture. There is a 500 sq metre garden with a pergola with granite table. An outdoor covered swimming pool (2,5 x 7 metres), and as well a toilet and a hot shower in the garden.

The house is located at the edge of a quiet village called Porta, approx. 170 meters above Brissago (15 minutes walk approx.). You will enjoy the superb panoramic view to the lake 'Maggiore' and into the mountains in the back. In Brissago there are a few shops, where you can buy bread groceries and fish. You'll also find two pharmacies, a post office and a tourist office as well as many restaurants. Ascona, Locarno or Italy is only 15 to 20 minutes by car. There are many enjoyable trips you can undertake by boat or by car to places of interest in the Ticino and in Italy. The house is also a starting point for nice walks through the woods or into the mountains nearby (up to 2200 metres).
