Locations and arrival: Frutigen 800 m - this impressive regional centre lies in the heart for the Kander vally. Its infrastructure makes in the ideal excursion destination for inspiring outings (Adelboden.16km). The Adelboden-Frutigen holiday and leisure region is situated in the Bernese Oberland, approx. 15km south of lake Thun. It can be reached easily by public and as well by private transportations from all directions. An international rail link (Lötschberg line) extends to Frutigen. Directly train connection from Airport Zürich to Frutigen also good trail connections from Frutigen to Interlaken, Thun, Bern ect. A bus service operates between Frutigen stations and Adelboden, Kandersteg. International flight connections to Basel, Bern, Geneva and Zürich.

Walking region: From Frutigen you are in 20 minutes in Adelboden-Sillern, Engstligenalp. Also in Kandersteg (Oeschinensee). In 15 minutes you reach the walking region Elsigenalp and Kiental.

Our stay in Frutigen was ideally situated. Access by car is easy and the train could easily be used if required. There are many walks within easy reach including areas such as Adelboden and Kandersteg. Spiez is only 10 minutes down the road with access to the lake and then further afield to Interlaken and Thun (which we much prefered). The mountains provide stunning scenery and outstanding views, which must be experienced to fully appreciate.

The apartment itself was clean, well cared for and had everything you could possibly require. The hosts are a delight, very welcoming and helpful.

Frutigen itself has a Coop, bakery and a number of other useful shops, as well as a tourist information office. Buses and trains are frequent.

Overall we would recommend this property.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung. Sehr angenehm. Wunderschöne Umgebung. Emphelenswert. Ideal auf dürchreise nach Italien doch auch um Urlaub zu machen.

Sehr schöne Wohnung, leider direkt an der Bahnlinie
Recommended for:  Age 55+
Owner's Response: Viele von unseren Gästen schätzen die zentralgelegene Ferienwohnung, denn sie ist nur wenige Gehminuten vom Zentrum, Busstation und Bahnhof entfernt. Die Wohnung ist mit Lärmschutzfenstern ausgestattet.

Das Berner Oberland ist immer eine Reise wert. Will man in einer prima ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung nicht zu weit vom Zentrum weg wohnen, ist diese Wohnung erste Wahl.
Zwar ist es nicht so ruhig wie auf einer Almhütte, dafür ist aber auch alles Wichtige fußläufig erreichbar.
Die Freundlichkeit der Vermieterin lässt sofort Urlaubsstimmung aufkommen. Etwaige Fragen oder Sorgen sind mit Hilfe der Gastgeberin schnell vom Tisch, Ausflüge mit und ohne Auto dank verkehrsgünstiger Lage in beinahe alle Himmelsrichtungen möglich. Die Ausstattung der Küche kennt keine Grenzen, Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und bieten genug Platz für das Urlaubsgepäck. TV und WLAN runden das Angebot ab.
Der Ort bietet einen nicht weit von der Wohnung entfernt einen tollen Kinderspielplatz und viele weitere Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Für Wanderer und Bergsteiger stellt sich die Frage, welcher Gipfel zuerst erstürmt werden soll.
Kurzum: Fahren Sie hin, probieren Sie's aus. Hier fühlt man sich bei jedem Wetter wohl!
