This house is located amidst nature, and is ideal for both seniors or men and women in love. One can reach the wellness hotel by car in 5 minutes, Churfirsten, in the skiing and hiking region in 20 minutes, the next train station, a Gault Millau chef, village cinemas and shops in 10 minutes. A tranquil country guest house and pizzeria is just 1 minute away. Everything can be reached by foot or by bicycle on cozy paths along the Thur. Public transportation: the next bus stop is 3 minutes away. Wattwil train station, which is 10 minutes away, is very well connected. A bedroom, a large shower room (with sink, WC, washing machine), open kitchen with a large living / dining area, 1 storeroom, and 1 central heating room for drying shoes and laundry are located on the 2nd floor. Direct access to the 3 seating areas in the garden is available. A very large bedroom, a bathroom (with sink, WC, bidet) and an open reading room are located on the second floor. All rooms have a view of nature.

The house is located in a hamlet between Wattwil and Ebnat-Kappel. It was built as a coach and servant’s house in 1834. Coachmen and their horses used to rest here before taking on the strenuous roads to Rheintal via Wildhaus. Wattwil was once renowned for the Heberlein textile company, Ebnat-Kappel for the ski championships, the “Super-Bürsten” and the Morga, with their health related products. The house is situated in Ennet, Ricken Valley.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The day of arrival and the day of departure are counted as full days. To balance this, bedding, bathroom towels, cleaning, and surcharges are all included in the price. We charge according to day (not night). As a welcome, the refrigerator contains butter, jam, 4 eggs, and 1 litre of milk. A fresh loaf of grain bread, 4 onions, 4 cloves of garlic, salt, pepper, and 1/2 litre of sunflower oil are also included.
  • Arrival and departure can be arranged flexibly, at any time during the day. The tenant is required to leave the vacation apartment tidy (swept clean). The landlord is responsible for final cleaning. There is no smoking allowed in the house, and only house shoes or soft soled shoes may be worn. Cancellation insurance is the responsibility of the tenant. If the tenant cannot arrive during the time period agreed, he is required to inform the landlord promptly. Should cancellation occur 15 to 44 days before arrival, 80% of the rent is due. If cancellation occurs 45 days or more before arrival, 60% of the rent is due. This is applicable if no other tenants are available for the rental period. In the case of cancellation, the tenant has the right to provide an alternate tenant. Should the tenant’s stay be shorter than the time period booked, the full rent is still due.
  • The tenant is to sign the lease within 7 days and send it by post or by fax to the landlord. After signing the lease, a 50% down payment is due within 7 days (if the rental period is less than 45 days away). For early bookings, a 20% down payment is due upon signing of the lease. The remainder is due before arrival, either by bank draft, or cash upon check in. Changes must be made in writing.
