Located only a few kilometres from the German-Austrian border at Kufstein/Kiefersfelden our village lays in a sunny, wind-protected basin between the majestic Wilder Kaiser and Hohe Salve mountains.
In summer Söll boasts a multitude of attractions:
Visit a century-old Alpine hut and witness traditional cheese making and bread baking. Additionally, the Gründlalm kiddy express, a wildlife park and the witches’ playground in the forest await children.
The magic world of the Hochsöll Witch Water (450 m long water trail feat. interpretative panels etc.) or the Sundial and Mirror Installation on the Hohen Salve peak.
Due to its central position Söll is also ideal for tours to Innsbruck, Zillertal and other interesting places in Tyrol.
The local bus-operator offers day trips all over Tyrol.

It is valid for all lifts and cable cars operating in Söll, Scheffau, Ellmau, Going, Hopfgarten, Itter, Kelchsau, Brixen i. Thale und Westendorf. You will agree: there is definitively no more pleasant way to explore a big hiking-paradise in the Kitzbüheler Alps.

In Söll everything is possible: Skiing and sledding by day and night, winter hiking trails, cross-country skiing, curling, Panorama swimming baths (indoor pool with hot outdoor pool, sauna, massage parlour, tanning studio...), horse-sleigh rides, paragliding, squash, bowling, camping, guest kindergarten, Halfpipe for snowboarders, etc.
After a day out in the snow enjoy a glass of Glühwein or Jagatee in one of the huts and enjoy the sunset on top of the mountain with a breathtaking panoramic-view.

Austria’s largest connected ski area, the Wilder Kaiser- Brixental Ski World, boasts a total 250km of immaculate ski runs (of which 135km are covered in artificial snow) and over 90 modern ski lifts. Experience truly unlimited winter fun!
The ski bus stops opposite our house, ski- and cross-country-skiing-slopes end 100 metres from our house.
250 km of slopes, 300 snow cannons, 160 km artificially snowed runs, 91 modern lifts, 10 km ski routes, 73 huts, mountain restaurants and snow bars make a perfect and unforgettable holiday.
Golf:
The beautiful 27-hole golf course in Ellmau, our neighbouring-village is only 10 minutes by car.
In only five years the Wilder Kaiser Golf Course has developed into a paradise for golfers. Located at the foot of the majestic Wilder Kaiser mountain range, this wonderful course features lakes, rivers, trees, bushes and - of course - 27 holes. The Wilder Kaiser Golf Course offers great golfing in even greater surroundings.
