Our holiday flats are situated at the border of the small village Hofstetten which is well known for its famous Swiss open-air museum Ballenberg as well as for its lovely surroundings and the Brienzer lake. Because of its central location it's very convenient for undertaking trips as f.e. to Lucerne (Chapel Bridge, Swiss Museum of Transport, KKL), Interlaken, Lauberhorn, Schilthorn (James Bond), Jungfraujoch, Meiringen-Hasliberg or Brienzer Rothhorn (cog railway driven with steam-engine). The cantons Valais and Ticino offer as well beautiful places that are worth travelling for. Both flats are furnished in a rural and functional style, and they offer a nice view over the mountains.

The ground-floor flat (without threshold) is furnished in a rural and functional style. The spacious living room offers direct access to the balcony and as well to the garden, both with beautiful view to the mountains. The kitchen is functionally equipped and offers f.e. a fridge with freezer, ceramic stove top, baking ofen and dishwasher. The flat has got 4 bedrooms (8 ordinary beds) and a sofa bed (sleeping accommodation for 2 people) in the living room. There are as well a washing machine and a tumble dryer on the basement which can be used on request. The basement offers as well storage for skies etc. Places to park are next to the house. Near the house (about 5 minutes walking distance) is a nice playground near a small forest.

Hofstetten is located in the centre of the beautiful Bernese Oberland where a lot of famous resorts as Interlaken, Grindelwald, Jungfrau region, Axalp. Meiringen-Hasliberg, Schilthorn etc. are situated. There are a lot of possibilites for activities as hiking, rock climbing, skiing, cross-country skiing, canyoning, bungee jumping but the place welcomes as well people who just would like to relax and saunter through the neigbourhood as for examplethe Brienzer lake. Excursions to the Valais and the Ticino are as well worth an experience but are recommended to be made only during summer/autumn time. We are sure that Hofstetten holds a lot of nice undertakings for you.

Advantages of a holiday home: You are able to make holidays without any schedule and are able to choose your own daily activities. This is very appreciated by independent guest who would like to organise their holidays themselves as f.e. families with children, couples that would like to do a lot of activites etc.

Ski: The famous skiing region Meiringen-Hasliberg can be reach in only about 15 minutes driving time by car, for getting to the beautiful skiing region Axalp you have to consider about 25 minutes driving timy by car. There are other skiing regions in the Bernese Oberland as Interlaken-Männlichen, Grindelwald-first and Wengen/Kleine Scheidegg (Lauberhorn).

Golf: Interlaken has got a famous golf course (about 15 km). In the same area there are several other golf courses.

Other Activities: Skiing, tennis, rock climbing, mountain climbing, canoning, miniature golf

"First of all, we wish to thank Ms Monica for her good service of information and communications. We like to say that we found the apartment in excellent condition and very clean, aswell as described online. We spend our Christmas holiday there, (We were 2 families, 8 persons in all), and we can say that the place is very spacious. The location is beutifull and very quiet and is surrounded by mountains. We arrived there on the 18th of December and we found the area all covered with snow but we didn't find any problems finding the apartment, although we arrived in the dark and were a bit tired as we drove all the way from Milan Airport in Italy.
Our children can say that they spend their best ever Christmas holidays there. All the destinations were reachable, infact we visited the Rhein Falls, Zurich, Bern, Lucerne, Interlaken and some of the mountains, such as Titlis, Pilatus, Rigi, where our children enjoyed their time sledging.
Once again we wish to thank you, and we are going to reccomend the accomodation to every family who wishes to spend some time in Switzerland. If we decide to visit Switzerland again in future, at least this time we don't have the hussle to find a place where to stay.

Eine sehr gute Ferienwohnung

Es war een gute saubere Wohnung. Wir haben es sehr gut gehat, denn wir hatten alle luxere Sachen zu gebrauchen. Auch die Waschmachine und Trockner macht das die Urlaub gemaslich war. Alle Dingen konnten gebraucht werden. Nichts war kaput.
In ein Zimmer gab es leichte Gardinen und unsere Tochter war sehr fruh wach wenn die Sonne kam. Und die Turen von den toiletten haben keine schlossen so wir hatten sehr laut zu singen wenn wir ins Badezimmer waren......
Wir haben es sehr gut gehat in dieset Wohnung.

Wir sind bereits zum vierten Mal Gast in dieser Ferienwohnung gewesen und haben uns wie immer sehr wohl gefühlt.Da wir mit Freunden reisen sind für uns zwei Ferienwohnungen in einem Haus sehr wichtig, was hier gegeben ist.Wir schätzen die Möglichkeit, in getrennten Schlafräumen übernachten zu können und uns in der Wohnung auch gemütlich aufhalten zu können. Das Berner Oberland ist superschön. Berge und Seen bieten auch für Menschen, die nicht mehr so gut zu Fuß sind viele Ausflugsmöglicjkeiten.Wandern kan man sehr gut, und zwar direkt vom Haus aus. Wir kommen immer wieder!!

Buchen und sich freuen

Für uns ist die Ferienwohnung sehr geeignet.Mit Kindern ist der Rasen und die Sackgasse super um Fussball zu spielen,Rollschuh fahren, Federball spielen, herum rennen ect. Mit dem Kinderwagen kann man sehr gut auf ebenen Wegen spazieren. Der schöne Brienzersee ist nahe! Einkaufsmöglichkeit für das nötigste im Dorf. Auto empfehlenswert, wobei das Postauto regelmässig in die nähere Region fährt. Waschmaschine und Abwaschmaschine vorhanden. Es hat sehr gute Betten. Für uns ist die Wohnung ideal und dazu noch preisgünstig. Wir freuen uns schon auf die nächsten Ferien.
