Euro 2008:
The largest sporting event of the year is taking place in Innsbruck just next door to our house, some European Cup football games are being held in our beautiful country, with a direct link to the Brenner motorway you can reach Innsbruck in no time at all, if you want to leave the car you can travel by bus to Innsbruck and back (the bus stop is located a mere 50 meters from our house). During this period the whole of Innsbruck will become a huge stadium with 100,000 guests expected to attend, you too can experience this event live and also enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of our house and valley.
Hiking and mountain climbing:
There are numerous opportunities for activities from hiking to extreme mountain climbing in the Stubaital valley and its neighboring valleys and in the beautiful mountain region of Tirol. There are a multitude of mountain cabins available during the summer months, in the neighboring areas of Fulpmes and Neustift there are mountain climbing schools; clearly marked out mountain biking trails lead through the valley; paragliding is possible the whole year round in Fulpmes and Neustift.
