Award of the Ramsar Title:
The communities Keutschach and Schiefling in the Keutschacher lake valley with its various wetlands which go through the landscape fulfil the condition for the award of the international accepted title the description as the Ramsargebiet. The various landscapes with moors and lakes with their numerous rarities of flora and fauna were such a criterion for the award of the Ramsar title. Specific walking into this area is offered to our guests.
Ski:
The Gerlitzen-Alp is about 20 minutes by car apart. Cable lifts and chairlifts take you to the slopes. Furthermore you will find 200 km cross-country ski-tracks.
