The Château de la Motte is a family property located on the outskirts of Marcorignan village (in the Languedoc region) that has been converted into a small holiday residence. The houses have been built into the walls of the old fortified farm buildings that are attached to the family home. The warm reception is done by the owner and her family. We assure you to do our best to make your vacations as pleasant as possible. Hidden away beneath the charm of the old stone and rambling ivy, the interiors are both modern and comfortable and have been decorated with taste. Each house has a large living room and a fully equipped open kitchen (oven, hotplates, dishwasher etc.) A shared laundry room is at the disposition of our guests. The house is terraced and yet completely independent, it is doted with a little private garden. The whole is integrated into a vast three acre grassy park with a big swimming pool surrounded by for the most part with pines, oleander bushes and olive trees.

The house for 2-5 persons has two bedrooms (one with a double bed, two with two or three single beds). The house has a large living room and a fully equipped open kitchen (oven, hotplates, dishwasher etc.). A shared laundry room is at the disposition of our guests. The house is terraced and yet completely independent, each one is doted with a little private garden. The whole is integrated into a vast three acre grassy park with swimming pool.

The domain is extremely vast (about 50ha) and is perfect for walks and cycle rides. However, the most essential amenities (grocer, baker, pharmacy etc.) are less than a five-minute walk away in Marcorignan village. The Languedoc region is renowned for its countryside, history, reasonable restaurants and plentiful wine. The area is particularly known for its immense sandy beaches, its salt-water lakes and the picturesque Canal du Midi. The history is testified in Cathar-castles, Cistercian abbeys and the medieval walled city of Carcassonne.

  • We offer you 10 % reduction if you are only 2 persons (except high season 910 EUR). Prices: 2 persons 301 - 910 EUR and 4 persons 350 - 910 EUR and 6 persons 441 - 1092 EUR. Available all year. All prices are per week. 10 % reduction for the third week rented. To confirm your reservation, it is necessary to pay a deposit of 30 % on the total price. We will ask you to pay the rest at your arrival at the residence.
  • Bed linen included. Refundable security deposit: 250 EUR. Electricity is paid only between beging October and middle of May. Final house cleaning: 50 EUR. Options: Towels: 5 EUR per person per change. Baby cot and high chair: 25 EUR. Dogs are not admitted for safety and hygienic reasons in high season. If you bring a dog in law season there is a supplement of 40 EUR a week.
  • From 1 October to 1 May it is possible to rent on monthly basis.
