Gastronomy: You will find typical Portuguese restaurant everywhere. Just have a look at the menu and choice what you like. The most important ingredients come from the sea, the fresh fish and seafood. With them, you will find the famous 'Cataplanas', fish soups and seafood rice. Meat lovers are well catered, try the chicken 'piri piri'. Concerning the sweets, the very famous cake, are 'Dom Rodrigo', Morgado and the small almond cakes, as well as 'pastel de nata'. You have to try.

Golf: Parque da Floresta golf club, the most westerly of the Alagarve courses, is close to the villa, approx. 1,5 km. It is situated in natural, hilly country with cistus bushes near the nature reserve 'Costa Vicentina'.
